the distance i'd go

here's a photographic history of my whereabouts in the past four weeks. geographically speaking, i went from the pacific northwest to the sierra nevadas to the gulf coast of florida to the center of the state of pennsylvania. mentally, i approached it as a marathon; i knew i would be tired at the end of it but there were so many opportunities for memories to be made along the way, i wanted to enjoy every single mile. i visited friends i haven't seen in years, reconnected with a childhood best friend i hadn't seen in more than a decade, spent days with all of my coworkers, sat on the beach with friends i feel lucky to see on a semi-regular basis, and stood in the falling snow in october for a football game.

i'm struck by how much can happen in four weeks. i'm astounded by what a difference two weeks can make.

It's going to be in the low 80's all week in Sarasota. Wish we were there. Dad
