two months to go!

two months from now i will be basking in the glow of having completed my fifth livestrong challenge. this year i'll be walking the 5k with friends and family on saturday, and on sunday i'll hit the road on my bike. i'm looking forward to it with excitement on par with a kid's excitement for santa's arrival. that's how much this weekend means to me.

i sincerely believe i would not be here today, living life so fully, were it not for livestrong. as soon as i was diagnosed i turned to them for information and learned how to manage keeping track of chemo and hospital visits, found other patients with my diagnosis and talked with them for support, and was motivated to stick with my running, riding and skiing despite having cancer.
