happy snowfall

yesterday, as i lay on the table waiting to be moved into position for my bone scan, i stared at the radiation symbol on the door to the room. all day i'd seen this image everywhere i went - it lit up on the ct scanner as i held my breath for my scans. it was on the lead container that my radioactive tracer material was delivered in for my injection for my bone scan. it was on every door in the nuclear medicine wing of the hospital. anyone else might see it and want to run away. it is just part of life for me.

i realized that if you squint and look at it just right, it kind of looks like a snow angel.

they couldn't find any cancer this round.

somehow, i think this present will be hard to beat.
