fiosh*t
when i arrived home from work today the fios guy was still at it (as he had been since 9am), trying to figure out what the heck was going on with the tv in the kitchen. i could tell fios guy was not particularly thrilled about still being here, still being hard at it, with a couple of holes in the wall and still no tv function other than on/off. he just looked wiped out. frustrated. like he needed a beer. or at least a nice, cold lemonade.
"hey, how're you doing?" fios man asks.
"better than you are" i hysterically reply.
a couple of seconds elapse, allowing my mind to process the snappy comment i just made.
"it's been a while since i said that to someone" i add... hysterical... but true.

hey fios man, when life hands you limons, make some pisco sours. salud!

It sure is nice to see your beaming smile and to hear the happiness in your voice. It sounds like you are getting stronger and your running endurance is building. That is just great!
You aptly described those heart monitors they put on you at the hospital. I had one attached to me when I was in the hospital at the beginning of March. I found out what happens when you lean over and the heavy monitor box falls from the pocket.
Keep smiling, Lizzy, and may every tomorrow be brighter than the day before.
