weathered
thank goodness, thank goodness for this amazing weather. it was a long wait but supremely worth it. typically the first warm days of spring give me energy anew but this is a new experience. it is hard to put into words how this weather makes me feel. my bones and muscles and brain seem to soak up the warmth and revel in it. i have pushed myself to the limits of comfortable existence in the past months and the cold didn't seem to help make me fel any better. but the sun - it gives me new energy (until i use it all up and need to go to sleep) and instills a new sense of hope and happiness. i desperately needed a few days like this.
tuesday marks my six month anniversary since my diagnosis. extraordinary how quickly time has gone and how much activity i have crammed into those months, both treatment-wise and in real life. i am so lucky to have had so many opportunities to see friends, laugh, and take care of myself.
it is much too nice to sit in front of my computer any longer; i need to get up and moving around. but here are some fotos capturing some of my moments over the past six months.

You will shine like never before... even more than you do now. And you will appreciate every fucking second of beauty in this great world in ways other people can't even comprehend. Life is beautiful.
Your courage, strength and determination through all of this has been amazing. Keep on rockin' babe, we are so very proud of you.
Hugs and kisses,
