foooooooood

here is a photo of senor beef, plus homero el bombero y max (de chile) from my vacation last year. on this night, we fired up mr. beef and laid on piles of delicous meat, drank delicious wine and really had an incredible time. you cannot imagine how badly i'd like a piece of just ONE of those steaks right now.
or, i could really go for the grilled cheese and tomato bisque i had for lunch on monday. yes, i realize it is only 8am.
the "side effects" began kicking in in earnest yesterday, especially late in the evening, and quite frankly it is hard to think about them as "side effects" when you can't really ignore them. i'm still lucky, by my own standards, no messes to speak of, just a burning desire to EAT and no ability to do so satisfyingly.
and when did i get hit by the train? i seriously feel wholloped. i mean, i was born tired and all that jazz, but this is a new sensation for me. walk up the stairs, take a little breather. make the bed, take a little breather. how about just taking a little breather?
i know this is how things go and all i can do is make an attempt to grin and bear it. my doctors say this lasts a couple of days and then i'll turn the corner, so i can hang in with what the monsters are doing to me - so long as they're doing it to my cancer as well!
now, where does one find the all-you-can-eat mexican buffet around here? seriously, this service stinks!
smooches...
