fall back

yesterday was a long day; my first without a nap since tuesday. i had crazy dreams last night - i dreamt that some friends and i moved to a resort-type place somewhere in the mountains. there was skiing and a lake with ice skating, and a big medical center with lots of CT scanners arranged in a building very similar to the Forum at Penn State. and no, i hadn't taken a pain pill before bed.
anyway, i talked to adam and derek yesterday afternoon; it was great to catch up with these old friends and it made my day. i couldn't settle down after talking to them, so i took the gorilla dog for a stroll. it was a gorgeous evening, the wind was propelling the clouds through the sky in billowy bunches and the sun was dying them incredible colors. gorilla was more interested in chasing squirrels, but i am trying to train her to be more mellow on the leash. if the chemo makes me weak i won't be able to walk her if she doesn't settle down - she's a strong dog. i think she has a bit of malamute in her - she can pull.
enjoy the pics from my stroll. today promises to be a good one; a movie with katy and maybe a nap. bill paying, too. so glad i have my bike sitting in my apartment with no where to go... maybe i'll sneak in a slow, cold ride sometime this busy week. not sure when, now that the days are going to be so short. i don't heart daylight savings.
two more days till i find out what comes next. i'm ready to begin moving on and really fighting this. easy to say now...
